Watchlist Import: Import Finviz & TradingView Watchlists
If you already track symbols in another tool, importing a watchlist is the fastest way to start using quotes, charts, screening and backtesting workflows.
Goal: get a clean list of tickers into one place, then turn that list into actions:
research → shortlist → validate → track.
What “watchlist import” means
Many investors export lists as CSV files (for example from Finviz or TradingView-style watchlists). InvySmart supports common CSV watchlist formats so you can import symbols and immediately start working.
After import: the workflow
- Quotes & profiles: sanity-check a symbol quickly.
- Charts: review context (trend, levels, volatility).
- Stock screener: filter the list to match your constraints.
- Backtest lab: validate a strategy before committing capital.
Practical tips
- Keep one “core” watchlist and one “candidates” watchlist.
- Standardize tickers (especially for ADRs, UK listings, and ETFs).
- Remove duplicates and stale symbols before you backtest.
